Minnetonka Public Schools has again been recognized as the #1 Best School District, #1 Best High School and #1 Best Elementary School among public schools in Minnesota by Niche.com as part of the publication's annual Best Schools rankings. Minnetonka has also been ranked #32 nationally for Best School District out of more than 10,760 public school districts nationwide. All nine schools and the District overall received A+ or A rankings.
Niche.com's methodology combines rigorous analysis of key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education—including test scores, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, reviews from students and parents, and more to determine school rankings.
Minnetonka Public Schools was also ranked #1 in Minnesota for Best Teachers (#11 in the nation) as well as #1 in Minnesota for the Best Places to Teach.
Minnetonka High School was ranked #4 among Best College Prep Public High Schools in MN and #1 in Best High Schools for Athletes among public schools in MN.
