Tickets now available for MME Fall Musical, Adventures of a Comic Book Artist

The 2022 6th Grade Musical, Adventures of a Comic Book Artist, is playing at Minnetonka Middle School East beginning Thursday, November 17 through Saturday, November 19.

About the musical Adventures of a Comic Book Artist:
Stanley Leonardo Sappovitz wants nothing more than to become a comic book artist and create heroes and villains for the comic books he loves so much. As the janitor at Wonder Comics, he anxiously awaits the day that his boss, D.C. Wunderman, will see his drawings and give him the chance to have his superheroes come alive on the printed page. Stanley just might get his wish but not without some twists and turns, and battles with villains like Dr Shock Clock and the Minutos.

You’ll laugh and cheer as Stanley’s superheroes, the charismatic but egotistical Star Guy, speedy Triple Time, environmentally correct Blossom, and cranky Wombat Woman jump out of the comic book pages and onto the stage.

In addition to the 20 talented 6th grade actors, over 40 MME 6th, 7th and 8th grade students participate in this production as sound and lights crew, set design and stage crew.
